We had so much fun doing this lesson! This was our best project yet. We are getting ready for Halloween and thought we needed some Halloween drawings to spooky up the place. I saw these great haunted house illustrations on the Jamestown Elementary Art Blog and thought these would be great. I have no idea how these talented art teachers were able to get such amazing illustrations out of their third graders! After scratching my head for a bit, I remembered I purchased another great lesson from Deep Space Sparkle! Patty’s Drawing Victorian Homes was exactly what we needed!
This was another fantastic lesson from Deep Space Sparkle. I can’t recommend her lessons enough. They are thorough, easy to follow, and the results have been great. Everyone was so pleased with their haunted house when they were done. I *love* the details the kids added.
E, third grade, added caution tape to her front door which I thought was ingenious! (Why didn’t I think of that?!)
K was very meticulous about his house and his witch in the window is certainly haunting!
This is one of those projects I just loved. As a child, I wanted to be an architect. I used to draw victorian homes and do multiple floor plans. So this was really fun!
Looking forward to our next Halloween project … it’s going to get messy! So stay tuned!
